Yeme is a purely Slovak concept built and designed to fit the needs of the Slovak customer. It’s a concept of a family groceries shop which goes of its way to merge the comfort of city shopping with the uncompromising quality of traditional farmers produce.

We created Yeme in a way that it would meet all the demands of an urban and family customer. We bring legitimate, authentic and mostly local groceries. We strive to support local farmers and manufacturers in order to create an environment which supports quality and authenticity, because that is the only recipe for success.

Our bakery

Today, our own craft bakeries are an icon of the city. They are exceptional in that we follow the traditional methods of baking bread and pastries, we use quality flour from Slovak farmers, we make our own sourdough and we bake many products in a wood oven. Our products are made of honest raw materials without the addition of chemicals and “Es”.

Meat

We offer you a wide selection of our own authentic delicacies and meat products, which we produce from top quality and fresh ingredients from local farmers and producers. We hand process all products daily, in a gentle way. They are free of dyes and unnecessary chemicals. In addition, our products are unique in that we make them for you with great passion.

From farm to table

We consistently and responsibly assess and select foods, address their origin, composition, method of breeding and cultivation. Mainly, we are looking for small, local, organic growers and breeders as well as craft food producers with traceable origins. We renew and develop food traditions. We meet, talk to our suppliers and seek inspiration together for further improvement.

Personal shopper

In YEME, we have created a new personal shopper concept. The shop will not only prepare the goods ordered at the e-shop, but will also deliver them in person, and the purchase will be consulted with you by phone if necessary. The same buyer will be available in your location, and we believe that after a short period of time until you and the buyer become acquainted, the personal buyer will be completely familiarised with all of your requirements and preferences. Because valuable shopping is not only about geographical, but especially human proximity to you.

Eco-friendly Yeme

Food is closely linked to the Earth and our nature. If we want to have quality food, we must also take care of its environmental impact. We ask our suppliers if their food is produced with consideration, such as crops, and the conditions in which the animals live. Our stores are no exception. We can recycle up to 80% of all waste and return it to the ecosystem, for which we have set up our own recycling centre. We do not use oil plastics, we print on paper from sustainable forestry, we clean shops with ecological substances drugstores and we do so because we consider it responsible to live in such an environment.
